August 15, 2003 - Pelesys Delivers New Boeing 747-400 Flight Crew CBT/WBT Courseware to Air New Zealand

Pelesys Learning Systems Inc., a leading aviation CBT developer, is pleased to provide Air New Zealand with our Boeing B747 - 400 flight crew training computer based courseware. The B747 - 400 CBT / WBT delivered to Air New Zealand has been completely configured and customized to match Air New Zealand's specified aircraft and full flight simulator including GE and Rolls Royce power plants. The new course, once implemented, will replace Air New Zealand's current B747 - 400 AVT program. The course is 52 hours in learning time and has been designed to AICC standards. Delivery of Air New Zealand's new B747- 400 courseware can be accomplished via CD-Rom, LAN, Intranet and the Internet. Pelesys' B747 -400 CBT is designed for experienced airline Captains and First Officers attending ground school training related to aircraft familiarization for both initial and recurrent training.

The course is Windows based/Web based, self paced, self-instructional and modularized. . Each module consists of various lessons. At the end of each lesson, a summary of the principles taught will be provided. At the completion of the course an exam can be provided.
